| Cancellation Policy POLICIES Thank you for booking with Mount Maunganui Bed and Breakfast and Holiday Home. Please read our accommodation policies. Cancellations and Refunds Due to our unique and relatively small business, any cancellations or no show affects us greatly. Therefore it is important that you understand the policy outlined. Payments Reservations will be accepted with a credit card guarantee. Credit cards accepted are Visa, Bankcard, Mastercard. All rates quoted are per night and include GST. Rates and conditions are subject to change. We also accept Internet Banking, Cheque and Cash. No EftPos facilities available. Peak Seasons December, January, February All Public Holiday Weekends Minimum Stays Peak season from 27th December - 3rd January - 7 nights Thereafter and all year - 1 night PEAK SEASON BOOKINGS A deposit equivalent of two nights accommodation is required to secure your reservation. Cancellation 28 days or more prior to arrival will be refunded in full The deposit becomes non-refundable if you cancel within 28 days or less of your arrival date. Full payment is required if you cancel within 7 days of your arrival date. No refund will be given after arrival if you decide to alter your dates or shorten your stay. OUTSIDE OF PEAK TIME CANCELLATIONS A deposit of one nights accommodation is required to secure the booking. If you cancel within 7 days of arrival, the deposit is non refundable. GROUP BOOKINGS - Sports teams, school groups, work functions etc Group Bookings include the Bed and Breakfast and/or the Holiday Home. 2 nights deposit is required to secure the booking. The deposit is non refundable after confirmation of booking should you cancel. Confirmation of group numbers and full payment is required 60 days prior to arrival. No refund will be given if you cancel 60 days or less of arrival date. No refund will be given after arrival should you alter your reserved dates or group numbers or leave before your reserved departure date. Damages Management reserves the right to claim the cost of any damage to property that may have incurred during your stay. Should the damage be severe enough to require an insurance claim, an excess of $500.00 plus gst will be charged. If you cancel 30 days or more - the deposit is non refundable If you cancel 30 days or less - full payment is required OUTSIDE OF PEAK TIME CANCELLATIONS If you cancel 30 days or more - the deposit is non refundable. If you cancel 30 days or less - 50% of the full payment is required. If you cancel 7 days or less - 100% of the full payment is required. ON DEPARTURE The holiday home is to be left clean and tidy as you found it. Cleaning products are supplied. Failure to do so, could result in a cleaning charge of $150.00. WINTER LONG STAY The Holiday Home is available for rent from Easter Weekend through to December for a maximum of 6 people. Tariff from $550.00 per week. Bond and Rent in advance applies. Monthly power, gas and water charges are included in weekly rent. WIFI and Sky TV are optional at additional charges. DAMAGES Management reserves the right to claim the cost of any damage to property that may have incurred during your stay.
